The single pulley meets the requirements for PPE (protective work equipment) - Pulley CE EN 12278.
Each pulley has its own identification number within the production order. This number will improve registration and ispection of metal products during periodic inspection checks.

In cases where there is a danger of falling and where for technical reasons or for the performance of very short work it is not possible to guarantee safe access in some other way, the use of personal protective equipment should be considered. The use of these means should never be improvised and their choice should be specifically governed by the basic basic safety measures in force at the worlplace.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Do not use the Pulley without first reading the instructions carefully.
The different possibilities of use are shown. Some know possibilities of incorrect use of the product have been graphically indicated and crossed out (download technical sheet).

USE
Attention:
This product should only be used by responsible and professionally trained persons. Use by other is possible as long as it is under the continuous supervision of the above mentioned persons. Check that the product is compatible with the rest of your equipment. Only use products that meet the requirements of the relevant standards and regulations.
The user who uses this product must be informed about the possibilities of providing assistance in the event of an accident.

Important:
Always respect the maximum usable diameter of the rope for which the pulley is intended.
Respect the maximum permissible load of the pulley. Respect the correct combination of the pulley with the carabiner.

Checking:
Check points. Before each use, check both sides of the body, the pulley itself and the shaft.
Finally, check that the product is able to work. Elements such as humidity, rain or ice do not affect the product, as long as all the recommendations above are followed.
Any manipulation of the products construction or repair is prohibited.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
The user does not need to carry out any special maintenance, but should  only clean and lubricate the product according to the instructions below.
Cleaning: Repeatedly rinse the product with warm drinking water (max. 40ºC). Or water with mild detergent. Allow it to dry naturally at a sufficient distance from direct heat sources.

Lubricate: Repeatedly lubricate moving parts with oil including silicone. Avoid contact of the textile parts with the oil. Carry out this operation once the product has been cleaned and has dried completely.

Disinfection: Immerse the product for one hour in warm water with a disinfectant containing quaternary ammonium salt, rinse with drinking water and allow to dry and then lubricate.

Storage: Once clean, dry and lubricated, store the product in a dry, chemically neutral place, avoiding saline environments above all.

SHELF LIFE AND PERIODIC CHECKS
The lifetime of metal products is determined by their correct functionality or wear and tear. The maxium wear of metal products cannot exceed 1mm in any case.
